Following Galatasaray Daikin’s historic CEV Volleyball Cup victory over Italy's Reale Mutua Fenera Chieri, middle blocker Yasemin Güveli could barely contain her emotion.

Standing amidst the roaring celebrations at the Burhan Felek Vestel Volleyball Salon, the Turkish star paid a glowing tribute to the club's faithful supporters, highlighting how their unwavering energy carried the team through the highest-stakes moments of the final.

Yasemin Güveli:

I am incredibly happy. Seeing this atmosphere gives me goosebumps. We stepped onto the court with the advantage from the first leg, but things didn't quite go our way in the opening set.
However, our fans' support was endless. This cup is a gift to all of them. In matches like this, which carry an immense amount of stress, we have fans who know exactly how to lift us up the moment we fall.
Whenever we looked back and heard their voices, it instantly pulled us back into the game. We didn't win this trophy just by sweating on the court; we won it thanks to the roaring voice of our fans.
While Yasemin Güveli’s post-match words focused heavily on the crowd, her on-court impact for Galatasaray Daikin was monumental, with her clinical blocking and aggressive net play providing the defensive stability needed to dominate the European campaign.
Her performance peaked during the two-legged final against Chieri, where she consistently dismantled the Italian side's tactics with crucial blocks and transition points, cementing her role as a key architect of Galatasaray's coronation.
