The atmosphere at Burhan Felek was one of pure magic as Galatasaray Daikin Istanbul lifted the 2026 CEV Volleyball Cup. After a long European journey, the team secured the title with a 3-1 victory over Chieri (25-27, 25-22, 25-18, 25-18), turning a night of high pressure into a celebration of sport.

The match didn't start easily. Chieri took a narrow opening set 27-25, momentarily silencing the home crowd. However, Galatasaray found their rhythm through patience and steady teamwork, leveling the match with a 25-22 win in the second. 

Led by MVP İlkin Aydın, the team grew more confident with every rally, closing out the final two sets with identical scores of 25-18.

It wasn't just about the points; it was about the spirit of a group that refused to give up. From a tough battle in Italy to the final whistle in Istanbul, Galatasaray showed that growth and belief are the true heart of a champion.
