Following Galatasaray Daikin’s historic CEV Volleyball Cup 2026 victory against Reale Mutua Fenera Chieri, opposite hitter Alexia Căruțașu could not hide her pride after lifting the European trophy in front of a packed, roaring crowd at the Burhan Felek Vestel Volleyball Salon.

From First-Leg MVP to European Champion
The atmosphere inside Burhan Felek was absolutely electric, with a deafening, sold-out home crowd pushing the team through every single intense point. 
Already named MVP of the first leg for her dominant performance in Italy, Căruțașu proved once again to be the ultimate decisive factor in the return match in Istanbul. 
Her heavy scoring, clutch attacks, and relentless energy heavily contributed to anchoring the Turkish side's triumph, ensuring that Galatasaray claimed its first-ever major continental title in women's volleyball history.
