Vakıfbank secured the headliner of the weekend againt Zeren Sports in Sultanlar Ligi Matchday 14, solidifying their position at the top of the overall championship standings. 

It was a hard-fought 3-1 victory (23-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-21). After dropping the opening set, Vakıfbank rallied to claim the next three, though not without enduring a stern challenge from a spirited Zeren side.

Marina Markova stole the spotlight with 30 points, as Tijana Bošković added a decisive 23 to seal the win.

In the second match, Fenerbahçe Medicana dominated Aras Cargo, winning with a decisive 3-0 sweep (28-26, 25-14, 25-22). This result keeps them in second place in the general standings.

American Yaasmeen Bedart Ghani led Fenerbahçe’s scoring with 14 points, closely followed by Arina Fedorovtseva with 13.

Meanwhile, Galatasaray Daikin delivered a commanding straight-sets victory on the road against Aydın BüyükÅŸehir Belediyespor (25-23, 25-19, 25-11), a result strong enough to reclaim fourth place from Zeren.

In another clash, third-placed Eczacıbaşı Dynavit had to battle through five sets to overcome Kuzeyboru (21-25, 28-26, 21-25, 25-17, 13-15).
