Imoco Volley Conegliano returned to winning form in Serie A, overcoming Novara 3-1 after an opening set loss. The Panthers reacted strongly, taking control in the second and third sets before closing out a tight fourth.
Gabi contributed 25 points, while Wolosz earned MVP honors by guiding five teammates into double figures, including Haak, Sillah, Fahr, and Chirichella.
Despite Tolok’s remarkable 31 points for Novara, Conegliano’s blocking and team play proved decisive in securing the victory.
Meanwhile Savino Del Bene Scandicci claimed another 3-0 win, this time with relative ease. Apart from the close third set (25-23), Omag-Mt San Giovanni in Marignano never reached twenty points, falling 17 and 18 in the first two sets.
The victory was guided by MVP Ognjenovic, earning her a second consecutive award. Antropova (16), Skinner (13), and Nwakalor (13 with 5 blocks) all reached double figures for coach Gaspari’s team, while Zhuang (12) stood out once again for the Romagna side.
In the other Sunday games, Megabox Ond. Savio Vallefoglia defeated Eurotek Laica Uyba 3–0. Il Bisonte Firenze claimed a 3–1 away win over Wash4Green Monviso Volley, while Reale Mutua Fenera Chieri edged Bergamo in a thrilling 3–2 playoff-zone battle.
