It will be an all‑Italian final in the 2025 FIVB Women's Club World Championship as both Savino Del Bene Scandicci and Imoco Volley Conegliano defeated on Saturday their Brazilian rivals.
Savino Del Bene Scandicci extended their perfect run in São Paulo with a 3–0 sweep of Dentil Praia Clube (25–23, 25–22, 25–20), securing a place in the final in their debut appearance.
The Italians, who have yet to drop a set in the tournament, capitalized on Praia’s higher error count and asserted control through superior blocking and attacking efficiency.
The opening two sets were tightly contested, but Scandicci edged both thanks to the firepower of Ekaterina Antropova and Avery Skinner. Antropova delivered a match‑high 20 points, including all three of her team’s aces, while Skinner added 16 with strong blocking and consistent hitting.
Imoco Conegliano joined them in the title match after a composed 3–1 victory over Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde (21–25, 25–23, 25–16, 25–16).
Imoco overcame a slow start, dropping the first set 21–25 as Osasco rode the home crowd’s momentum with aggressive serving and fast transitions. The Italians steadied their reception in the second set and tightened their block–defense structure, edging the frame 25–23 before taking full control of the match.
From there, Conegliano imposed their rhythm, dominating the final two sets 25–16, 25–16 to secure their place in Sunday’s championship showdown.
Local heroine Gabi Guimarães was the best performer for Imoco with a total of 18 points, while Isabelle Haak added 14 more.
