After a strong performance in the CEV Champions League mid-week, KS DevelopRes Rzeszów carried their momentum back into domestic competition, securing another impressive victory in TAURON Liga Matchday 8.

They defeated Sokół & Hagric Mogilno 3–1 on home soil. The match unfolded dramatically, with the visitors taking the opening set 25–16 before Rzeszów mounted a powerful comeback.

The hosts responded with determination, dominating the second set 25–14, edging out a tense third set 26–24, and sealing the win convincingly in the fourth at 25–16.

American star Taylor Bannister once again proved to be the difference-maker. Delivering a stellar performance, she tallied 26 points and was deservedly named MVP of the match.

Remarkably, this marks her third MVP award so far this season, an achievement made even more impressive given that it is her debut year in Poland’s premier women’s volleyball league.

With this victory, KS DevelopRes Rzeszów strengthen their grip on the top of the TAURON Liga standings. After eight games, they lead the championship table with 22 points — four points clear of second-placed PGE Budowlani Łódź.
