Stanford University's women's volleyball team achieved a historic milestone by capturing the 2025 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) regular-season championship in its very first year as a member of the league. 

Despite entering a highly competitive and unfamiliar conference landscape, the program demonstrated immediate dominance, adapting quickly to secure a conference crown right out of the gate. This achievement marked the 25th conference championship in the program's storied history but its first as an ACC member.

The team maintained an elite level of consistency throughout the entire 2025 campaign, establishing themselves as a top-five national powerhouse from start to finish. Stanford engineered an impressive 18-2 conference record, anchoring its position at the top of the standings.
This performance placed them in a tie with the Pittsburgh Panthers for a share of the co-championship, demonstrating the high caliber of play required to navigate the new league.
Beyond the shared title, the season-long execution yielded critical postseason advantages, as Stanford earned the conference’s automatic qualification berth to the NCAA tournament due to a regular-season head-to-head tiebreaker victory. 
The regular season concluded with a stellar 27-4 overall record, driven by stellar individual contributions, including outside hitter Elia Rubin, who earned the ACC Volleyball Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors for her exceptional season-long performance.
