Co-hosted across four different nations—Türkiye, Czechia, Azerbaijan, and Sweden—the continental flagship event has kicked off with immense energy as all the powerhouse nations safely secured victories in their opening games.
Italy kicked off their EuroVolley campaign with a 3-0 sweep over Croatia, highlighted by a 25-9 massacre in the opening set before closing out the remaining frames 25-22 and 25-23. The Italian attack was spearheaded by Ekaterina Antropova, who dominated the match as the top scorer with 21 total points, consisting of 17 attack kills, 2 block points, and 2 aces.

Türkiye also enjoyed a perfect start on home soil, dominating Latvia 3-0 with consistent set scores of 25-17, 25-16, and 25-16. The reigning champions controlled the rhythm from the first serve, heavily powered by their star opposite Melissa Vargas, who led the squad with an unstoppable 19 points, including 12 attack kills, 4 blocks, and 3 service aces.
Reigning CEV European League champions Sweden made their own statement by sweeping newcomers Montenegro 3-0 with a score of 25-13, 25-18, and 25-23. Swedish superstar Isabelle Haak put on an absolute masterclass for the home crowd at the Scandinavium, raining down a phenomenal 30 points to secure the victory
