It is actually incredibly rare to see the CEV European League group stage finish with this kind of mathematical deadlock.
While the top tier clearly separated themselves from the rest of the pack, the final leaderboard created a spectacular tie with Slovenia, Hungary, Sweden, and Slovakia all locking up exactly 18 points each.

With all four countries cruising through the pool stage with a perfect 6-0 match record, the final seeding came down strictly to tiny set margins. Slovenia took the top spot with a flawless 18-0 set record, followed by Hungary and Sweden tied closely at 18-1, and Slovakia securing the final spot at 18-2.

According to the official CEV schedule, the first-leg semifinal matchups were set to kick off as follows:
  • Saturday, June 27, 2026 (18:00): Hungary vs. Sweden
  • Sunday, June 28, 2026 (18:00): Slovakia vs. Slovenia
The action was then scheduled to conclude with the decisive second-leg fixtures a few days later:
  • Wednesday, July 1, 2026 (18:00): Sweden vs. Hungary
  • Wednesday, July 1, 2026 (20:00): Slovenia vs. Slovakia
