The Big Ten Conference has officially released its volleyball schedule for the 2026 season, mapping out the path ahead for the Oregon Ducks. While precise match times and television broadcast details will be finalized in the future, the structural lineup for Oregon's second year in the league is now set.
Opening the Campaign on the Road
Oregon kicks off its Big Ten campaign in late September with a challenging two-game road trip. The Ducks will travel to face Wisconsin on September 24, followed quickly by a matchup at Minnesota on September 26.
Home Opener and Key Matchups
The Ducks return to Eugene for their conference home opener at Matthew Knight Arena on October 2 against Purdue. This match sparks a dense stretch of home appearances. The full rotation of opponents visiting Oregon this fall features a mix of familiar rivals and powerhouse programs, including:
  • October: Illinois (Oct. 4), Indiana (Oct. 16), and Rutgers (Oct. 18).
  • Late Fall: Maryland (Oct. 30), Iowa (Nov. 1), Nebraska (Nov. 7), Northwestern (Nov. 8), and Washington (Nov. 17).
Building Momentum in the Conference
Head coach Trent Kersten enters his second season at the helm, managing an evolving roster that brings back eight returning players from the 2025 squad. The team aims to build heavily upon its inaugural Big Ten run, where they posted a 17-13 overall record and an 8-12 finish in conference play.
Adding extra stakes to the upcoming calendar, the Big Ten previously announced the implementation of a new postseason conference tournament. This addition gives the Ducks an explicit championship tournament pathway at the end of the regular season rotation.
