It was Matchday 4 in the Playoff stages of the Tunisian Women’s Volleyball League, and fans witnessed a series of dominant performances that reshaped the momentum of the competition.

At the Mohamed Zouaoui Hall, Club Africain delivered a commanding display against their fierce rivals Espérance Sportive de Tunis. The “Clubistes” swept the match 3-0, celebrating what they described in official communications as a “beautiful sporting revenge.”

They controlled the game from start to finish, taking the first set 25-17, tightening their grip with a crushing 25-11 win in the second, and sealing the victory with a 25-14 triumph in the third.

It was a statement performance that marked a strong comeback for the team after losing the last derby at home against Espérance.

Meanwhile, reigning champions Club Féminin de Carthage showed no mercy in their clash with Club Sportif Sfaxien. Playing away from home, Carthage silenced the crowd with a ruthless 3-0 sweep.

They edged the opening set 23-25 before asserting complete dominance in the next two, winning 17-25 and 17-25. The victory reinforced their reputation as the team to beat in this year’s playoffs.

In the third and final encounter of the day, Union Sportive de Carthage comfortably dispatched Msaken Volleyball with another clean 3-0 win. Their straightforward performance added further pressure to the playoff standings, ensuring the competition remains fierce as the season progresses.
