The Omaha Supernovas step into the 2026 Major League Volleyball season with a roster that blends championship-tested veterans and ambitious newcomers. After winning the PVF title in 2024, they fell short in 2025, and that setback has only heightened their determination to reclaim the crown.
The team has undergone a major transformation, with just five players returning from last year’s squad: captain Brooke Nuneviller, who earned Outside Hitter of the Year honors in 2025, outside hitter Reagan Cooper, opposite hitter Emily Londot, libero Allison Holder and middle blocker Toyosi Onabanjo.
The Supernovas are also welcoming back Sydney Hilley. She was part of the championship-winning team in 2024 and brings both leadership and stability to the new lineup after a successful run with Indy Ignite, where she earned the title of 2025 Setter of the Year.
Another big signee is Morgan Hentz, the 2025 Libero of the Year, who joined from the Atlanta Vibe, whose defensive brilliance will anchor the backcourt. Sarah Parsons, a seasoned outside hitter, adds valuable experience and leadership.
Merritt Beason, a former Nebraska Husker who played with the Atlanta Vibe last season, strengthens the attack, while Leyla Blackwell, also a former Husker, arrives from the San Diego Mojo to reinforce the middle. Norah “Sis” TeBrake, a former Creighton Bluejay, adds another Nebraska connection, deepening the team’s ties to the state’s volleyball tradition.
The roster also features an exciting group of rookies from the NCAA who are ready to prove themselves at the professional level. Allie Sczech, an opposite hitter from Nebraska, brings size and power to the front line. Kiara Reinhardt, a middle blocker from Creighton, adds defensive presence at the net. Two promising setters, Brooke Mosher from Pittsburgh and Claire Ammeraal from Iowa will be tasked with directing the offense and building chemistry with the hitters.
