Sesc RJ Flamengo showed once again why they are one of the strongest teams in the Brazilian Superliga Feminina. Playing away at the Arena Paulo Skaf in Bauru, the Rio side overcame Sesi Bauru in a dramatic tie-break, winning by 3 sets to 2 with partial scores of 22/25, 25/21, 25/22, 21/25, and 15/13.

The match began with Sesi Bauru imposing their rhythm, taking the first set 25–22 and forcing Flamengo to chase the game. But Flamengo responded with determination, adjusting their block and attack to claim the next two sets.

Bauru fought back in the fourth, leveling the contest and pushing the clash into a decisive fifth set. In the tie-break, Flamengo’s composure and resilience made the difference, closing the match at 15–13 and silencing the home crowd.

The standout performance came from Simone Lee-Wank, the American outside hitter, who delivered an extraordinary 32 points and was deservedly awarded MVP of the game.

With this victory, Flamengo reached eight wins in eight matches, maintaining their invincibility in the competition and climbing to 22 points, just behind Minas in the standings.
