Texas A&M and Kentucky have both advanced to the NCAA Women’s Volleyball National Championship, setting up a historic matchup.
For the first time ever, the final will feature two teams from the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The championship will be played Sunday at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri, and it promises to be a true thriller.
Texas A&M made history by earning their first-ever trip to the national championship match. The Aggies swept Pittsburgh in straight sets, showing confidence and control throughout the game.
Kyndal Stowers led the team with 16 kills, while Logan Lednicky added strong offensive support. Head coach Jamie Morrison praised his players for their determination and highlighted how special this achievement is for the program.
Kentucky reached the final after a dramatic five-set victory over Wisconsin. The Wildcats struggled in the opening set but showed resilience by fighting back to win the match.
Eva Hudson was the standout performer, finishing with 29 kills and delivering the winning point. Kentucky, who won the national title in 2021, will now look to add another championship to their program’s growing legacy.
