The 2025/2026 CEV Champions League group stage action resumed tonight with a second wave of four matches

Savino Del Bene Scandicci claimed their second straight Group A victory with a 3–1 win over Volero Le Cannet, building on their opening triumph against CSM Volei Alba-Blaj.

The Italians started strong with a dominant 25–11 first set. Volero responded in the second, taking it 25–20, but Scandicci’s depth and composure carried them through the next two sets (25–23, 25–17) to secure the match.

Avery Skinner led all scorers with 23 points, while Ekaterina Antropova added 15 points and Sarah Franklin contributed four aces. Volero’s Alina Popova fired 16 pointsbut her efforts weren’t enough to stop Scandicci’s momentum.

In Group D, Vero Volley Milano claimed their second straight win with a clear 3–0 away sweep over OK Železničar Lajkovac.

Milano controlled the match throughout, taking the sets 25–16, 25–18, and 25–15. Vita Akimova led all scorers with 16 points, while Kamerynn Ashleigh Miner added 3 aces. 

The Italian team was simply too strong for the local side, dictating tempo and pressure from start to finish, clinching their second straight victory in the group.

In Group D and after a heroic performance against Imoco Volley Conegliano, Zeren earned a commanding 3–0 win over ŁKS Commercecon Łódź

The Turkish team controlled the match, closing the sets 25–19, 27–25, and 25–20. Anna Lazareva was the top scorer with 17 points.

In Group C, SL Benfica celebrated a thrilling 3–2 victory over PGE Budowlani Łódź. The Portuguese side fought back after dropping the first set 14–25, winning the next two 25–19 and 26–28, before forcing a decider with 25–20 and sealing the match 15–9. Cansu Çetin led Benfica with 20 points and was named MVP of the game.
