LOVB Austin will be aiming for back-to-back championship glory in the 2026 season as the defending champions, having secured the inaugural League One Volleyball (LOVB) title in 2025.
This pursuit follows another significant state victory, with Texas A&M winning their first-ever NCAA Women's Volleyball National Championship in December 2025, adding to the state's volleyball momentum.
LOVB Austin returns much of its championship core, including stars like Madisen Skinner, Asjia O'Neal, and the defensive duo of Zoe Jarvis and Kotoe Inoue.
The team has also added new talent, such as Bailey Miller from Arizona State, and Madi Banks, an outside hitter who joins after playing for LOVB Omaha.
With a strong roster and the goal to defend their 2025 crown, the Texas franchise will be on a mission this season. However, rivals across the league have also strengthened their teams and will be ready to challenge Austin for the championship title.
The season begins on January 7 with a rematch of the 2025 finals against LOVB Nebraska. The team is preparing to defend their title under new head coach Erik Sullivan.
