Sultanlar Ligi defending champions VakıfBank and fellow powerhouse Fenerbahçe Medicana both showcased their strength on Saturday, extending their unbeaten runs to eight straight victories with commanding home performances.

At the VakıfBank Spor Sarayı, VakıfBank swept Göztepe 3–0 (25–22, 25–22, 25–14). Eight different players contributed directly to the scoreline, underlining the depth of the squad. 

Tijana Boskovic led the way with 22 points, while captain Zehra Güneş sparked a decisive 8–0 run in the first set with her serve. VakıfBank’s blocking and balanced attack proved decisive, as the yellow‑blacks maintained control throughout. 

This victory also marked their 19th consecutive league win, stretching back to last season’s title run.

Meanwhile, at the Burhan Felek Vestel Volleyball Hall, Fenerbahçe Medicana defeated Kuzeyboru 3–0 (25–22, 25–21, 25–14). Arina Fedorovtseva was unstoppable with 24 points, while Melissa Vargas added 14 to secure the sweep. 

The hosts edged Kuzeyboru in the first two sets before dominating the third, continuing their flawless campaign.

With these results, both VakıfBank and Fenerbahçe Medicana remain unbeaten at 8–0. The league’s two giants continue to set the pace in the Sultanlar Ligi, looking formidable in their pursuit of the championship and already building momentum ahead of their upcoming European fixtures in the CEVChampions League.
