The Oregon Women's Volleyball team defeated UCLA 3–1 at Matthew Knight Arena on Thursday in Big Ten Conference play.
The Ducks stormed through the first set with an emphatic 25–9 victory, but the Bruins responded with a much tighter second set (25–22).
UCLA claimed the third set (25–23), but Oregon dashed the Los Angeles-based team's hopes by sealing the match in the fourth (25–22).
Alanah Clemente led Oregon with a match-high 14 kills, while Sophia Meyers scored 13. The next game for Oregon will be another home match, hosting Michigan State on Sunday.
