On Matchday 7 of the Brazil Superliga Feminina, Fluminense were defeated at home, falling 3–1 to Paulistano Barueri. The hosts managed to respond in the second set but couldn’t sustain momentum, as the visitors closed out the match with composure and consistency.
Paulistano started strongly, taking the opening set 25–14. Fluminense fought back in the second with a 25–19 win, but the visitors regained control in the third (25–22) and sealed the victory in the fourth (25–19).
The star of the night was Jheovana Emanuele, who delivered a brilliant performance with 22 points, leading Paulistano’s attack and keeping Fluminense under constant pressure. On the home side, Ariane Pinto scored 17 points, but her efforts weren’t enough to prevent the hosting squad from slipping to defeat.
