On Saturday, the reigning champions Imoco Volley continued their dominant run in Serie A with a seventh consecutive victory, defeating Bergamo 3-1 in an away match at the Choruslife Arena.
Despite dropping the first set 25-20, Imoco quickly regrouped and unleashed their full power, claiming the next three sets with scores of 25-21, 25-12, and 25-18.
Merit Chinenyenwa Adigwe was on fire, racking up an impressive 21 points to lead her team to victory.
With this win, Imoco firmly holds the top spot in the championship standings, sitting at 20 points—three ahead of second-placed Savino Del Bene Scandicci.
Serie A Matchday 7 continues on Sunday with six games scheduled, including Vero Volley Milano hosting Monviso Volley and Igor Gorgonzola Novara welcoming Savino Del Bene Scandicci.
