The University of Oregon women’s volleyball team earned a straight-set victory against Ohio State University at Matthew Knight Arena. With this result, Oregon evened its Big Ten conference record, while Ohio State continued its difficult conference campaign

The visitors from Ohio State mounted an early challenge in the opening frame, establishing an initial lead before Oregon rallied to reclaim momentum and claim the set. In the second and third sets, Oregon took control early through sustained scoring runs behind the service line.
Despite a brief pushback from Ohio State midway through the second frame, Oregon executed strong late surges in each set to finalize the sweep.
The match was defined by the individual performances of key players on both sides. Ohio State's offense was heavily reliant on Kaia Castle and Hannah Jones, who both served as the primary scoring threats for the Buckeyes.
For Oregon, Alanah Clemente spearheaded the attack as the team's top scorer, while also contributing defensively at the net and from the service line. Valentina Vaulet provided crucial offensive support and anchored critical scoring runs with her serves, alongside front-row contributions from Iva Sucurovic and Sophia Meyers.
On the defensive end, Holley McFadden acted as a major deterrent at the net by leading all players in blocks, while Natalie Fukumoto protected the back row by securing team-high digs
