Imoco Conegliano secures second straight Serie A victory in dominant fashion


The Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano continued their flawless start to the 2025/26 Serie A1 season with a commanding straight-sets win over Honda Cuneo Granda Volley on Sunday, marking their second consecutive victory. 

Spearheaded by Isabelle Haak's explosive performance of 26 points, the reigning champions showcased their championship pedigree, dispatching Cuneo with clinical efficiency after a slightly tougher opening round.


Coach Daniele Santarelli praised the team's depth and focus, noting:

This was a statement game—we're building momentum early.

The result propels Imoco to the top of the early standings, signaling their intent to defend the scudetto amid a fiercely competitive field.


The second week brought thrilling action, with Reale Mutua Fenera Chieri '76 outlasting Numia Vero Volley Milano in a five-set epic, driven by Eszter Nemeth's 29 points. 

Neopromoted Wash4green Monviso Volley and WeKi We Are Bergamo secured wins over CBF Balducci HR Macerata and Omag-MT San Giovanni, respectively. 


Igor Gorgonzola Novara, Savino Del Bene Scandicci, and Il Bisonte Firenze also claimed victories, highlighting the league's fierce competition.
