The Michigan State Spartans dominated the Michigan Wolverines with a 25-14, 25-22, 25-21 sweep at Breslin Center in a true Big Ten Conference derby.
Freshman Bianca Mumcular led MSU with 15 kills and 12 digs, while Karolina Staniszewska added 13 kills. Michigan's Lydia Johnson and Ella Demetrician each notched 10 kills, but MSU's defense, led by Lia Schneider (7 digs), clinched the victory.
