Marina Crownover’s debut with the Oregon Women's Volleyball has been a lot of fun to watch, quickly showing everyone that the fifth-year setter is the clear mastermind behind the Ducks' offense. She brings an amazing resume to Eugene, including two NCAA National Championship rings from Texas and a great run at Missouri. Stepping into a whole new challenge in the Big Ten conference, she has made an instant impact on the team's early rhythm.

What stands out the most is how quickly she clicked with the Ducks' frontline hitters. Oregon's top scorers have thrived off Crownover's precise passes, effortlessly keeping the attack rolling. Senior opposite Valentina Vaulet has been on an absolute tear, hammering down a total of 44 kills across the opening three matches.

At the same time, opposite Alanah Clemente has been super reliable, chipping in with 30 total kills, while outside hitter Laura Eichert has made a massive splash by powering through for 23 total kills.

You can really see her growing into the role game by game. Crownover started the season sharing some time on court with 15 assists in a sweep over Western Kentucky, but took full control the next night against SEMO with a great 33-assist, 4-ace line.

Her return to Missouri was probably her best match yet, where she kept the offense running smoothly while racking up 48 assists and 11 digs.

Just three matches in, Crownover is showing that her experience and calm vibe are exactly what Oregon needs to lead the way this year.
