LOVB Miami enters the 2027 League One Volleyball (LOVB) season as an exciting expansion franchise, locking in a deep roster coached by Paulo Do RĂŞgo Barros JĂşnior (popularly known as Paulo Coco). It stands as the first-ever LOVB franchise in Florida, but the second professional team in the state overall, following the Orlando Valkyries who compete in the rival Major League Volleyball.
Setters
Mexico's Argentina Ung joins from LOVB Madison to provide athletic distribution. She forms the playmaking duo with Spanish setter Raquel Lázaro, who transfers from Italy’s Vallefoglia.
Outside Hitters
Brazilian star Helena Wenk Hoengen anchors the pins alongside American veteran McKenzie Adams (from LOVB Atlanta). The dynamic offense is completed by German powerhouse Michelle Ohwobete and Mexican international Uxue Guereca.
Middle Blockers
Annayka Legros arrives from LOVB Madison to spearhead the net defense alongside Dutch international Britte Stuut. The deep middle rotation is heavily reinforced by Argentina's Candelaria Herrera and American Jessica Robinson.
Opposites and Libero
American standout Khat Bell transfers from LOVB Austin to split opposite duties with Serbian international Tara Taubner. Securing the defensive backrow is world-class Japanese libero Miiku Iwasawa.
