Sweden has officially been crowned champions of the 2026 CEV European Golden League, capturing the historic title by defeating Slovenia in a dominant home-and-away final series.

Pure Dominance in the Two-Leg Final
The Swedish national team left no room for doubt across both matches, showing great resilience. In the away opening leg, Sweden outlasted the Slovenians in an intense tie-break to establish their dominance. Returning home for Leg 2 in front of an ecstatic crowd, the squad pulled off a spectacular reverse sweep to fully seal the championship trophy.

The Swedish opposite delivered a stratospheric performance over both legs, completely dismantling the Slovenian defense with her clinical offensive power—including a monster 35-point display in the first match—to finish as the tournament's top scorer and claim well-deserved MVP honors.
