VakıfBank Istanbul capped off their 2026 CEV Champions League journey in style, overcoming long-time rivals Eczacıbaşı Dynavit 3-1 (25-20, 25-21, 21-25, 25-18) in an all-Turkish final at the Ülker Sports and Event Hall. In front of a lively home crowd, the yellow-and-black side completed a remarkable undefeated run through Europe, adding a seventh continental title to their storied history.

The final delivered on its promise of high-level volleyball, with both teams showcasing skill, discipline, and intensity. VakıfBank set the tone early, controlling the rhythm with strong blocking and defensive organization led by Zehra Güneş. Eczacıbaşı fought back in the third set, powered by the attacking efforts of Ebrar Karakurt and Sinead Jack-Kısal, but Giovanni Guidetti’s team quickly steadied themselves to close out the fourth set and secure the championship.

Tijana Bošković shone brightest on the night, earning Finals MVP honors with 33 points in a commanding performance. Marina Markova added 26 points, giving VakıfBank the offensive depth needed to break down their opponents. With this latest triumph, the club unveiled a refreshed logo featuring seven stars—each symbolizing one of their European crowns and reinforcing their legacy as the competition’s most decorated team.
