VakıfBank Istanbul, the six-time European champions defeated CS Volei Alba Blaj 3–0 (25–19, 25–13, 25–20). Middle blocker Chiaka Ogbogu was named MVP for her defensive presence, while outside hitter Marina Markova finished as the game's top scorer with 15 points, helping VakıfBank stay perfect at 4–0 in Pool A.
