KS DevelopRes Rzeszów closed out the first half of the TAURON Liga season with another strong performance, showing why they remain the team to beat.

Playing away against ŁKS Commercecon Łódź, the same opponent they defeated in last year’s finals, they managed a convincing 3–1 win with set scores of 28–26, 25–19, 21–25, and 25–19.

Veteran setter Katarzyna Wenerska guided the team with calm precision, earning the MVP award as she kept the offense balanced and unpredictable.


Her choices allowed several teammates to shine, with Taylor Bannister leading the scoring effort at 24 points, combining kills, blocks, and aces in a complete performance.

Julita Piasecka added 15 points, showing her consistency and energy on the court, while Marrit Jesper contributed 13, including three aces that gave the team important momentum.

This victory marked their eighth consecutive win for KS DevelopRes Rzeszów who are strongly leading the TAURON Liga with a total of 31 points.
