Matchday 4 of the 2025 Women's Volleyball Arab Clubs Championship featured an all-Tunisian showdown between Club Féminin de Carthage and Espérance Sportive de Tunis.
Both teams came into the match undefeated, but Carthage ultimately prevailed 3-0. Despite the scoreline, it was anything but easy—Espérance pushed the reigning Tunisian champions hard.
In the first set, EST was close to taking it, but CFC bounced back and clinched it. The second and third sets were also competitive, though Espérance couldn’t quite maintain the intensity they showed early on.
Meanwhile, the third Tunisian squad, Club Africain, secured a solid 3-0 win earlier in the day against Salwa Al-Sabah SC from Kuwait. The final match of the day saw Kuwait’s Fatayat Ouyoun defeat Syria’s Al Rawad Sports Club 3-0.
Club Féminin de Carthage still has two more games to play in the tournament, but it’s clear they’re not letting up—they’re looking like the strongest team overall.
