Tunisian Women’s Volleyball: CF Carthage and CS Sfaxien set the pace early

The 2025/26 Tunisian Women’s Volleyball Championship opened this weekend with a fist wave of four exciting matches across the country.

The highlight of the first round came from Sfax, where Club Sportif Sfaxien delivered a commanding performance against Club Africain, winning 3–1 in front of a lively home crowd. The Sfax side showed composure and tactical precision, bouncing back after dropping the second set to seal the victory in four.

Meanwhile, Club Féminin de Carthage stunned Espérance Sportive de Tunis with a lightning-fast and dominant display. The reigning champions wasted no time asserting control, outpacing their rivals in straight sets and leaving little room for resistance.

Union Sportive de Carthage also impressed, overcoming Union Sportive Féminine de Monastir 3–1 in a well-balanced contest that showcased their depth and resilience. On the coast, Avenir Sportif de La Marsa swept aside ASM Médina with a clean 3–0 win, setting a confident tone for their season ahead.

With the season now underway, all eyes turn to next weekend’s fixtures as teams look to build early momentum in the race for the national title.
