At 24, Reagan Cooper, the dynamic 6-foot-2 outside hitter from Rowlett, Texas, is making waves as a cornerstone for the Omaha Supernovas in the Pro Volleyball Federation (Major League Volleyball in 2026) and a rising leader for Team USA.
Her electrifying performances, capped by an MVP turn at the 2025 NORCECA Women’s Final Six, mark her as volleyball’s next big thing.
Supernova Sensation
Joining the Omaha Supernovas in 2025 after a stint with the Columbus Fury, Cooper quickly became a fan favorite and a driving force in the PVF. Her 2025 season has been stellar: she torched Columbus for 14 kills on a .393 hitting percentage in a sweep, then delivered 11 kills, 19 digs, three aces, and two blocks in a rematch, holding the Fury to a franchise-low .036 hitting. Against Grand Rapids, she added 16 kills in a road sweep, solidifying her role as Omaha’s offensive spark. Her high-energy play, rooted in her Texas high school MVP days, has packed CHI Health Center with roaring fans.
Team USA’s MVP
Cooper’s senior national team debut at the 2025 NORCECA Women’s Final Six in Guadalajara, Mexico, was a revelation. Leading Team USA to an undefeated 7-0 run and a 3-0 gold-medal sweep over Mexico (25-19, 25-17, 25-19), she earned tournament MVP honors with 16 points in the final. Her versatility shone with 14 kills in a semifinal win over the Dominican Republic and 10 points against Canada, helping the U.S. hit .356 as a team. “Reagan’s leadership was electric,” said coach Erik Sullivan.
Looking Ahead
As Cooper powers Omaha toward an MLV title and sets her sights on the 2028 Olympics, her blend of power and passion is redefining volleyball. With every spike, she’s proving she’s not just a star—she’s a supernova.
