Brooke Nuneviller, a dynamic outside hitter for the Omaha Supernovas in Major League Volleyball (MLV), has risen from NCAA standout at Oregon to a professional leader, with a pivotal season in Turkey bridging her journey. Now re-signed for her third season after serving as captain, she’s a cornerstone for Omaha’s title defense.

At Oregon (2018-2022), Nuneviller transitioned from libero to outside hitter, recording 1,530 kills, 2,000+ digs (second in program history), and three AVCA All-America honors (First Team 2022). She led the Ducks to the 2022 Sweet 16 and won gold with Team USA at the 2023 NORCECA Pan Am Cup.
In 2022-23, she played for Nilüfer Belediyespor in Turkey, gaining professional experience in a competitive league, sharpening her skills for the U.S. pro scene.
Joining the Omaha Supernovas in 2024, Nuneviller helped win the inaugural PVF championship. In 2025, she earned Outside Hitter of the Year with 381 kills (3.77/set), 348 digs, and 17 double-doubles, setting an attendance record (13,486 fans).
As captain (2024-2025), her leadership and franchise records (points, kills, digs) drove a 21-7 season. She stepped down as captain in August 2025 but re-signed for 2026, joining new talents like Norah Sis. To sustain a third season, durability, adaptability to coaching changes, and fan appeal are key.
Nuneviller’s path—Oregon’s records, Turkey’s trials, and Omaha’s triumphs—makes her a model for MLV stardom, fueling the Supernovas’ championship hopes.
